I grew up in Kent where my desire to dance was facilitated and fed from the age of 5 leading me to train professional in London and Ireland. On this journey I was very fortunate to have some inspiring and compassionate teachers, as well as some not so! Both gave me insight to what really is the key to great teaching and how you can facilitate limitless growth or shut down and stunt a student. During this time I was also introduced to Pilates, Yoga, Somatics, journaling and creative processes helping my overall wellbeing and health and I began to understand the importance of holistic living.
When I began teaching I felt a very strong connection and enjoyment leading the class and getting to know my students, subsequently I have never stopped since and am continually leaning and growing myself through those I teach and am able to synthesis how best to balance body, mind and spirit.
Everyone is different to what kind of movement, therapies and work suits them and knowing this can positively help change the way you live. I fully appreciated this when I first encountered Yoga Nidra,Yin Yoga and Reiki as I can drain of energy quite quickly if I am not careful and these practicing have provided me a deep practice of restoring and keeping my energy balanced. I will work with you to help balance and create a sustainable and thriving practice specific to your needs.
